In 1967, Murray booked his first show, a fledgling group called CTA, later to become the band Chicago. For the next 19 years, Murray earned his stripes managing and booking Chicago based bands. With the formation of EMG in 1986, the focus shifted to securing talent for corporate functions, municipal festivals, and non-profit organization events.
